This year the Reunion Planning Board for the Dillenbeck family in America has decided to visit historic Herkimer, New York. Our boat tour last year on Otsego Lake was a big hit and we had quite a turn-out. So, this year we decided to have an Erie Canal cruise on the Lil' Diamond II 60-passenger vessel which docks at the Herkimer Marina operating from the premier visitor center of upstate New York, Gems Along the Mohawk. This 90-minute cruise of the Erie Canal is fully narrated by the captain giving a historic overview of the Erie Canal, including operational information of the canal locking system. This tourist and retail center promotes products manufactured in central New York and includes a very nice restaurant called the Waterfront Grille located directly on the Erie Canal just off Exit 30 of the New York State Thruway at Herkimer.

This year we will have available for sale at the annual picnic: the Dillenbeck Family Cookbook, an assortment of colored T-shirts, and mugs, all with the Dillenbeck logos (see the picture of the mug below). There will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Products with the Dillenbeck logo will only be available at the annual picnic.

Please print or download the Family Group information sheet.  We encourage you to  send in family information for inclusion in the Genealogy Book to the address listed there.
